Review: Weird Al Yankovic delivers the polkafied goods at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg

We told you, this show was not to be missed.

Stuck in the '80s' Steve Spears checked out Weird Al Yankovic Sunday at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, and he reports: "A crowd of about 1,300 couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces as Al whipped through 18 songs and probably a dozen costume changes in 2 1/2 hours."

Smells Like Nirvana. Fat. CNR. Craigslist. White 'n' Nerdy. Amish Paradise. And yes, even a Lady Gaga parody, Polka Face. It was everything you might hope a Weird Al Yankovic concert might be, and more.

As Steve writes: "Whatever you did Sunday night, it wasn't half as much fun as seeing Weird Al Yankovic perform live." We would have to agree.
