Rita Ora coming to the Kennedy in Tampa for 93.3 Jingle Ball lineup announcement
We've been hearing some big buzz about this year's 93.3-FLZ Jingle Ball, scheduled for Dec. 9 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa. And if the hullabaloo planned for the lineup announcement is any indication, the buzz might be justified.
The radio station will announce this year's lineup at a private concert featuring British pop singer Rita Ora, who was in town over the weekend for Wild 94.1's Last Damn Show. Ora will perform a handful of acoustic songs at 4 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Kennedy in South Tampa. It's free to get in, but you have to win entry -- click here to enter online, or listen to 93.3 at 8 a.m., noon, 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. weekdays.
As for the Jingle Ball itself: Pre-sale tickets will be available at 4 p.m. Oct. 15. A Prize Pig presale will kick off at 5 p.m. Oct. 19, while the general public can get them at 5 p.m. Oct. 22.
Can this year's Jingle Ball really be the best one yet? It'd be quite a feat if so. Here's a recap of every Jingle Ball lineup to date:
2009: The Fray, Sean Kingston, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Jordin Sparks, Boys Like Girls, 3OH!3, Jason Derulo and We The Kings.
2010: Maroon 5, Enrique Iglesias, Train, Bruno Mars, B.o.B., Mike Posner and The Ready Set.
2011: Pitbull, David Guetta, Demi Lovato, The Script, Big Time Rush, Jason Derulo, Cobra Starship, Karmin and Outasight.
Who's coming this year? Taylor Swift? Carly Rae Jepsen? The Wanted? Seems like Rita Ora might be a safe bet, at least. Stay tuned.
