So, where did YOU spot Lady Gaga this weekend?
It was the most-hyped concert of the year in Tampa Bay, that's for sure. But for the most part, Lady Gaga's concert Saturday night at the St. Pete Times Forum did not disappoint.
Reviewers called Lady Gaga's show an "eye-popping party," "a huge love fest between Gaga and her fans," and "a pretty awesome dream that I am so grateful is reality."
All week, we wondered if she would show her face in Tampa outside of the concert. Saturday was Record Store Day, and Gaga was offering a collectible Born This Way vinyl release -- maybe she'd pop into a record store?
We had heard she might pop into the Ritz Ybor for a drag contest (she does have a proud history in GaYbor), but no such luck. Instead, she sneaked into the Kennedy in South Tampa to deliver a surprise performance of her new single Judas. (Okay, she just played the song while dancing in the DJ booth. But still!) "I just wanted to stop by on my way out of town," she said. Check out the Cloverfield-quality fan video above.
But it turned out she WASN'T on her way out of town, now, was she? In fact, she stuck around Tampa Bay a whole 24 hours longer, because on Sunday night, she tweeted a photo of herself backstage at the St. Pete Times Forum with Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain.
What about you guys? Did any of you spot Lady Gaga out and about in Tampa Bay? If so, tell us about it in the comments!
