-- Prior to Sunday's Taste of Pinellas concert, Colbie Caillat visited All Children's Hopsital in St. Petersburg, where she hung out with patients and performed her hit Bubbly. That's her above with a 3-month old patient named Joshua Serrano. Hooray for good deeds!

-- R&B singer Joe will perform a Memorial Day weekend concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the T Pepin Hospitality Centre in Tampa. Opening the show is Tampa's own Trumaine Lamar. Tickets are $45-$400; click here to get 'em.

-- Remember when Alien Ant Farm was a thing, and punk covers of pop songs were considered still relatively innovative? Fun times! Now you can relive your Smooth Criminal-loving salad days when Alien Ant Farm visits the State Theatre on July 31 (the same day as the Warped Tour; good luck with that, guys). Tickets are $16. Click here.

-- According to his website, Peter Frampton is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Oct. 8. Will this be part of his "Frampton Comes Alive 35" tour, in which he performs the landmark album in its entirety? We shall see!

-- How did the Florida Orchestra's experiment with '80s music go this weekend? Stuck in the '80s has a review.

-- If you enjoyed Tyler Bryant opening for Jeff Beck a couple of weeks ago at Ruth Eckerd Hall, good news: The young guitar prodigy is coming back to Tampa Bay, this time in a much smaller venue. He'll be performing July 29 at the Local 662 in St. Petersburg. Tickets are just $8. Click here.

-- If you love Christian metal, you'll want to head down to Palmetto on Aug. 20, when more than 20 Christian metal bands from around the country will hit the Manatee Civic Center for Godzfest, including Sacred Warrior, Deliverance and Whitecross. Tickets are $20-$30. Click here to get 'em.

-- Some of you might remember a local arts and music writer named Sarah Gerard who moved to New York a couple of years ago. She's written a movie, and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help it get made. Click here for the details on her flick, Birds of Paradise, and to contribute.
