SoundBytes: The Beach Boys, Drive-By Truckers, Matisyahu and more

-- Want to meet hed(pe), above? Us neither. But at least we can sleep soundly knowing we COULD do that if we wanted to, which we don't. Before hitting the State Theatre, the band is scheduled to sign copies of their new album Truth Rising at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the FYE at Tyrone Square Mall in St. Petersburg. Click here for details.

-- Very interesting show coming to the Tampa Theatre: "An Acoustic Evening With Matisyahu." The Hasidic reggae-rapper will perform there on Sunday, Feb. 13. Tickets start at $32. Click here.

-- Alt-country-southern-rock fans, rejoice: Drive-By Truckers are performing at the Ritz Ybor on Jan. 21, according to their website. No word yet on tickets.

-- Jacksonville pop-punks The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will perform at the State Theatre on Dec. 11. Tickets are $15. Click here.

-- The Beach Boys (or what's left of them, anyway) are coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on April 15. Tickets are $45-$78, and they go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- Who is Sam Adams? Is he a thing? Apparently he's performing at Push Ultra Lounge on Dec. 2, which gives us three and a half weeks to figure out who he is. Click here for tickets.

-- Also coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall: Jazz singer Diana Krall, on Feb. 4. Tickets are $69-$135, and they go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- Wow, we never thought we'd see the day, but Dunedin Brewery has a new website. Check it out here.
