-- Well, here's an unexpected show: Indie-folk singer-songwriter Will Oldham, a.k.a. Bonnie "Prince" Billy, is coming to Tampa May 29 for a free show at -- wait for it -- Mojo Books and Music near Tampa. Wait, what? This has to be a candidate for the WTF Award, right? Well, maybe not. He's total outsider art, as his appearances on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and in this Kanye West video seem to suggest. Click here for details on the show.

-- This isn't Blues Traveler, but we suppose it's the next best thing: John Popper and the Duskray Troubadours are coming to the State Theatre on June 1. Tickets are $15. Click here for details.

-- Aiden, Eyes Set To Kill, Vampires Everywhere and others will lead the 2011 Horror Nights Tour, which will hit Orpheum in Tampa on June 5. Tickets are $12.50. Click here for details.

-- Pre-sale for tickets to this year's Mayhem Festival, with Disturbed, Godsmack and Megadeth, begins Friday. The show is Aug. 13 at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre. Click here for pre-sale details.

-- Remember how Jannus Live is starting an On Demand TV channel for Bright House? Well, if you want to be the face of the venue, head to Jannus Live from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (4/9) for an open casting call. "We're looking for fresh faces to host our programming," they say. Here's all the info.

-- The schedule for this year's Tropical Heatwave is out. Man, now we have to choose between Marksmen and The Whigs!

-- Speaking of all things WMNF: Help a brother out and donate to Ninebullets Radio, won't you?
