-- So You Think You Can Dance will bring this year's top 10 finalists to the Straz Center in Tampa as part of their fall tour. The show is Dec. 1; tickets will go on sale at noon Aug. 24.
-- We've got a high-dollar concert venue battle! Music promoter Bill Edwards, who runs the Mahaffey Theater and owns the Club at Treasure Island, has filed a lawsuit against Ruth Eckerd Hall, accusing the concert hall of unfair business practices -- specifically, of luring Louie Anderson and Danny Aiello from Treasure Island to Clearwater. Bill Edwards Presents Inc. is seeking more than $1 million in damages and also alleges defamation and tortious interference. Says Ruth Eckerd Hall: "We disagree with all claims.
