-- Supersuckers are coming to the Local 662 on Sept. 20. Tickets are $17. Click here.

-- Hmmm ... maybe now we know part of the reason why Mike Epps postponed his Nov. 3 show at the Straz Center until next April. He's the headliner for the annual USF Round-Up, a back-to-school party for USF students on Aug. 30. (Yes, that's the same night Mitt Romney will be speaking at the Republican National Convention. How will all those fans of both Mike Epps and Mitt Romney ever survive?) Click here for the details.

-- So You Think You Can Dance will bring this year's top 10 finalists to the Straz Center in Tampa as part of their fall tour. The show is Dec. 1; tickets will go on sale at noon Aug. 24.

-- We've got a high-dollar concert venue battle! Music promoter Bill Edwards, who runs the Mahaffey Theater and owns the Club at Treasure Island, has filed a lawsuit against Ruth Eckerd Hall, accusing the concert hall of unfair business practices -- specifically, of luring Louie Anderson and Danny Aiello from Treasure Island to Clearwater. Bill Edwards Presents Inc. is seeking more than $1 million in damages and also alleges defamation and tortious interference. Says Ruth Eckerd Hall: "We disagree with all claims. We will defend ourselves vigorously." Click here for the story.
