SoundBytes: Childish Gambino, GWAR, Toby Love and more

-- October and November is a great time to be a hip-hop fan in Florida. First Odd Future, then Das Racist, now Childish Gambino, a.k.a. Community star Donald Glover, will perform at the Plaza Theatre in Orlando on Oct. 8, en route to the Langerado Music Festival in Sunrise. Glover is not only a funny dude, he's also a pretty awesome rapper. Tickets are $25-$40. Click here.

-- Dude, the Hawaiian Village at the Stadium Green Iguana may be serious about becoming a Jannus Live-like concert venue for Tampa. First is the Rock Allegiance Tour on Sept. 5, with Buckcherry, P.O.D., Papa Roach and Puddle of Mudd. Now word comes that GWAR -- yes, THAT GWAR -- will perform alongside Every Time I Die and Warbeast on Nov. 23. Tickets are only $10, if you can believe it, and they're scheduled to go onsale Aug. 12 via Ticketmaster.

-- In addition to Jeremih and DJ Pauly D, it looks like bachata superstar Toby Love is coming to the Venue in Clearwater on Sept. 8, alongside Frankie Negron. Tickets are $10. Click here.

-- Looks like Largo residents are getting up in arms about live music noise emanating from a rock dive bar called Mako's on the Rocks. Katie Park reports.

-- Have you been waiting on pins and needles for a review of the Heart's Breath Flute Extravaganza over the weekend at Weedon Island Preserve in Tampa? Wait no more.

-- FINALLY, Club Skye has redesigned its nuclear mess of a website. This looks better, though it's apparently still a work in progress.
