SoundBytes: Darius Rucker, Curren$y, The Constellations and more

-- The man you see before you is American Idol's Constantine Maroulis, who's in Tampa Bay for Rock of Ages at Ruth Eckerd Hall (click here for a review). He is holding a sloth named Harry. You're welcome.

-- Did Pollstar score a scoop on the Tampa Bay Rays' 2011 Summer Concert Series? According to them, Darius Rucker has a show booked for Tropicana Field on May 14, which is a Saturday -- and the Rays are playing the Baltimore Orioles at home that day. Hmmm...

-- How does Curren$y stack up against Ke$ha? Too soon to say, but we do know Curren$y is a friend of Wiz Khalifa and one of the hotter rappers on the scene. He'll be performing at Jannus Live on Feb. 10. Tickets are $15 -- or as Curren$y might say, "s15." Click here for details.

-- The Florida Orchestra is slashing ticket prices for next season. This is iffy news for the orchestra, but great news for anyone who's always felt priced out of their performances. Come on -- who wouldn't pay $20 for this weekend's Queen show?

-- The Constellations will be opening for Robert Randolph and the Family Band on Feb. 10 at the State Theatre. This show has just gone from funky to funKAY. Click here.

-- Ruth Eckerd Hall is the world's No. 1 concert venue with fewer than 2,500 seats, according to Billboard magazine.

-- On Saturday, there's a benefit concert for Four Star Riot keyboardist Raulton Reichel, who's battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It's at 9 p.m. at Dunedin Brewery. Click here.
