-- Speaking of rappers, Murs will return to Crowbar on Feb. 13. Tickets are $12-$15. Click here.

-- Speaking of Crowbar, Thursday singer Geoff Rickly is bringing his solo act there on Feb. 15. Tickets are $13. Click here.

-- Ska favorites Reel Big Fish will be at the State Theatre on Feb. 8. Tickets are $21.50. Click here.

-- Ruth Eckerd Hall loves pairing artists with orchestras (see: Dennis DeYoung, Natalie Merchant, Roger Hodgson, etc.). This show isn't official yet, but according to their website, the Indigo Girls are planning a symphony show at Ruth Eckerd Hall on June 1. Now, they're saying it's with the "Clearwater Symphony," which, to the best of our knowledge, isn't a thing, so someone must have some wires crossed somewhere. Perhaps they mean the Florida Orchestra? Or the Suncoast Symphony? Either way, we'll keep you posted.

-- The annual Funk Fest festival has announced it'll be held on May 3 and 4 at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa. An exact lineup has yet to be announced, but Orlando's Funk Fest on April 6 includes Anthony Hamilton, Bell Biv Devoe, Dru Hill and El DeBarge. Other acts mentioned on the Funk Fest website include Kem, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Charlie Wilson. We'll keep you posted on any official details.

-- Speaking of El DeBarge: He'll be at a new venue called the Sage in Clearwater on New Year's Eve for a red carpet concert event. Tickets are $40-$50. Click here.
