SoundBytes: Flobots, Perpetual Groove, Ash and more




-- "I can ride my bike with no handlebars ... no handlebars ... " Wow, it suddenly got awful 2005 up in here. Denver alt-hip-hop group Flobots, best known for the aforementioned Handlebars, are coming to the Orpheum on Nov. 10. Tickets are $15, and they go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- Trippy indie hip-hop act Why? is coming to Crowbar on Oct. 28, according to Pitchfork and Beats Per Minute.

-- Pop-punk favorites The Ataris are coming to Crowbar on Sept. 20, along with Flatfoot 56 and Red City Radio. Tickets are $12-$14. Click here.

-- Another '90s alt-rock act is joining Weezer at the Mahaffey Theatre on Nov. 9. Irish Britpop group Ash (Girl From Mars, Goldfinger and the underrated Sometimes) will open the show.
