SoundBytes: Gary Sinise, Dr. Dog, Tone Loc and more

-- The last time actor Gary Sinise and his band, the Lt. Dan Band, were booked to perform in Tampa Bay, they had to cancel after Sinise got into a car accident. Now he's on his way back. Sinise will be in Tampa on Wednesday to announce a national concert series benefitting wounded soldiers, including triple amputee Sgt. Michael Nicholson of Tampa. Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band will play a benefit concert for Nicholson on May 10 at Curtis Hixon Park. Click here and here for info.

-- The Gasparilla Music Festival has added two more bands: Garage rockers Dr. Dog and reggae dude Corey Harris.

-- Tone Loc is getting paid to do the Wild Thing at Jannus Live on March 1. Tickets are $10. Click here.

-- R5, featuring Disney star Ross Lynch, must have done so well at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater recently that Ruth Eckerd Hall is bringing them back for an encore performance at the Palladium in St. Pete. Tickets will go onsale Feb. 16. Click here.
