SoundBytes: Gucci Mane, The Maine, Donavon Frankenreiter and more

-- You could probably say rapper Gucci Mane has taken his game to superstar level in the past year or so. You can see why when he performs at Jannus Live on May 22. Tickets are $38.50-$43.50. Click here for details.

-- Also coming to Jannus Live: Surf-popster Donavon Frankenreiter (July 2) and DJ Steve Aoki (July 3).

-- But lest you think Jannus Live has forgotten the little people, they're also throwing a concert called Marmalade Music, featuring the dulcet tones of great local artists like the Black Honkeys, Someday Souvenir, the Semis, Old North East, Shawty and more. It's free for 21 and up, $10 for under 21 on May 21.

-- The Maine will return to Tampa Bay with a show Aug. 13 at the State Theatre. Tickets are $16. See here.

-- On Saturday night, check out the big block party in the 600 block of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, with music by Lounge Cat, Thomas Wynn, Fall On Purpose and DJ Mega. Click here for all the details.

-- Skull and Bone Band is releasing a new CD, The Happy Circus, with a show June 4 at Skipper's Smokehouse.

-- Whatever's left of Underoath has a new digital live album, Live at Koko, available now.

-- Tickets to (deep breath) "Jonas Brothers in concert with Demi Lovato and Friends from Camp Rock" will go onsale at 10 a.m. May 22. The concert is October 8 at the Ford Amphitheatre.

-- For the first time, WMNF-88.5 FM will broadcast part of next weekend's Tropical Heatwave concert live. Starting at about 4 p.m., you'll be able to hear Tomas Delannoy and Somos Musica, Mark Levine and the Latin Twinge and Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88s live on the air.

-- Finally: If your car breaks down in Bradenton, you better hope We the Kings' Travis Clark is there to rescue you.
