-- It's gonna be a banner few weeks for Club Underground in Tampa. First we hear about Birdman hosting a party there on Aug. 3. Now we see heavy-hitting hip-hopper Gucci Mane is slotted to perform there on July 21. Also on the bill are Fatty Duke, 1Skye, Neon Love and Bang. For details, call (813) 703-3478 or click here.

--According to Stuck in the '80sRick Springfield will perform at Ruth Eckerd hall on Sept. 3. Opening the show will be Starship Starring Mickey Thomas. Tickets are $49.75-$100, and they go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- Is Bob Seger coming to Tampa? We have no idea yet, but this Rolling Stone story seems to indicate the legendary rocker is considering a slate of East Coast arena shows this fall, "and hitting the markets that we missed," said saxophonist Alto Reed. Seger himself lamented to Billboard, "There were states we never even got to." Florida was one of those states. We wouldn't be shocked to see a St. Pete Times Forum date come to pass. Stay tuned.

-- In the '90s, Tampa alt-rockers The Hazies were a big deal around town. Then they broke up. But they reunited last fall for a concert at Jannus Live, and it was a big success. Now they're gearing up for a concert at Clearwater's Capitol Theatre on Sept. 16. Tickets are $15, and they go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- This year's Summer Jam concert in Tampa could be a local mini-festival worth watching: 20 bands at two venues. Already announced: The Groves, Creepers, Preson Phillips and Cats in the Basement. Keep an eye out here.

-- Foo Fighters announced some new East Coast tour dates, and while they're not coming to Florida, they ARE coming to Charlotte and Duluth, Ga., on Oct. 8-9, with some open dates nearby. Maybe if we wish real hard...

-- Anyone want to carpool to Chicago or New York to see Portishead? That's as close as they're coming to Florida.
