SoundBytes: Ke$ha, Old 97's, Lewis Black and more

-- Whenever we bring you news of a concert in Orlando, we ask ourselves: Is this concert big enough to draw a sizeable crowd up I-4 from Tampa, and therefore, does it deserve its own post? We wrestled with this one, but we don't think Ke$ha qualifies. But it's worth noting, we suppose, that her just announced "Get $leazy Tour" (sigh) will hit the House of Blues in Orlando on April 22. As you might notice, there are plenty of open dates around it -- so don't be shocked to see her in Tampa before or after that gig. Prepare yourselves.

-- In ACTUAL music news, the Old 97's are touring again! Not only that, but according to their website, they're coming to Skipper's Smokehouse on March 2! Sounds like a can't-miss show -- neither murder nor a heart attack will keep us from this one.

-- Another big-time comedy headliner is coming to the Straz Center: Lewis Black. According to his website (the Straz does't have it up yet), he'll be there on March 10. Click here for his tour dates.

-- Jannus Live is all about giving back to the community this Thanksgiving season, with free shows. First Drivin N Cryin on Nov. 20, now Shinebox and the Loving Thorns on Nov. 24.

-- Looks like Anya Marina will be opening for Joshua Radin on Feb. 8 at the State Theatre. We can dig that.

-- Speaking of really interesting openers: Corey Glover from Living Colour is opening for Galactic at the Ritz Ybor on Jan. 20.
