-- Here's an interesting show in an unconventional venue: Country star Martina McBride is coming to Demens Landing in St. Petersburg for a "Dollars for Doorways" fundraiser on Nov. 5. Tickets are $40-$50, and they go onsale Friday. Click here for details.

-- Japanese noise-punks Melt Banana are performing at Crowbar on Nov. 9. Tickets are $12-$14. Click here.

-- If you were bummed that Great White canceled their concert at Jannus Live a while back, good news: The band is returning to Tampa Bay on Nov. 9. They'll be at the Hard Rock Cafe, and tickets are $25. Click here for details.

-- Before Deadmau5, there was Bunny. The frontman for Florida's own Rabbit In The Moon was an electronic-music marvel in the '90s and '00s. On Oct. 6, he'll be performing at Czar in Ybor City. According to a flyer: "The Bunny live show can include the Toxic Bunny dancers, pyrotechnics, cryo blasts and Bunny's original costume and prop designs." Sold! Tickets are $10-$15; get 'em here.

-- Late, random show alert: Emerson Hart, the lead singer of Tonic, will perform on Sunday at the Postcard Inn in St. Pete Beach, as part of Rock By The Sea, a fundraiser for children's pediatric charities in Florida. A slew of bands will also perform starting at 1 p.m. Sunday. The show is free, but you can get a VIP pass for $50. Click here for the details.

-- A new local music venue is opening in the heart of Ybor City. Collage Ybor will hold a soft opening on Saturday (9/17) at 1701 E Seventh Ave. Performing will be Betty Lou Fox. Owners promise the new club will feature artwork, live performances, dancers, open-mic nights and more. For details, follow the club on Twitter.

-- Kudos to the Huffington Post for posting this: Footage of Brad Paisley performing with a hologram of Carrie Underwood in Tampa on Sept. 9. The future is here!
