-- You know that semi-exclusive Smashing Pumpkins tour of small venues that's coming to the Ritz Ybor on July 21? Ticket prices are out ... and man, it's gonna cost you to get in. How does $42.50 to $50 sound? We're warning you, Billy, you better play Today AND Zero, and they better be awesome. Tickets go onsale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.

-- Speaking of iconic '90s acts: Public Enemy is coming to Club Firestone in Orlando on Sept. 16, it looks like. Yeeah, boyeeee!

-- Once again, back to the '90s: Margaret Cho, above, is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Dec. 9, according to her website.

-- According to his website, no-talent ass clown Michael Bolton is coming to Florida for a ton of dates in January -- Lakeland, Sarasota, Miami, Daytona Beach, Panama City, Naples, West Palm Beach and Key Largo -- but no shows in Tampa, Clearwater or St. Petersburg. Are we somehow insulted by this? We honestly can't decide.

-- Speaking of Sarasota: Dancer Savion Glover will be at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in February.

-- A boy band made up of military leaders who served in Iraq and Afghanistan: Does this sound like something that would be of interest to you? If so, check out 4Troops on Nov. 26 at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater.

-- Is the Ford Amphitheatre getting a new name? Sean Daly thinks so.

-- We here at SoundcheckCorp. have never been prouder to be associated with PolitiFact.

-- Get a free download of Automatic Loveletter's new single, To Die For, here. It's from their new album, Truth or Dare, due June 22.

-- In addition to an upcoming midwest tour, Soundcheck favorites GreyMarket are opening for Electric Six Oct. 6 at the State Theatre.

-- Don't forget: This weekend is the Homemade Music Symposium in Ybor City. We went last year; it's a good networking event for anyone in a band. Here's a good rundown of the highlights.

-- Finally: Congrats to the guys at Stuck in the 80s on their 200th podcast!
