-- Play 98.7 is hosting two great unplugged concerts in the next few weeks, and you can win tickets to both. First, throwback soul group Fitz and the Tantrums will stop by Play's St. Petersburg studios around lunchtime on Nov. 2, before their concert at the State Theatre. Click here to enter to win admission. And on Nov. 11, jam-rockers O.A.R. (above) will take to the rooftop of Push Ultra Lounge before they hit the road for the Orlando Calling festival. Click here for more details on how you can catch their performance.
-- Charlie Daniels will mark his 21st annual celebrity golf classic benefitting The Angelus with a star-studded concert on Dec. 3 at the Dallas Bull. Among those on the bill: The Charlie Daniels Band (of course), Little Texas, Confederate Railroad, T. Graham Brown, Aaron Kelly and Suite Caroline. Click here for more info about the entire charity weekend, but if you just want to see the concert, tickets are $10-$15, and you can get them here.
-- Yet another interesting New Year's Eve concert is coming to Florida: Slightly Stoopid on Dec. 31 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Tickets are a mind-boggling $65-$70, but there will be special guests, party favors, a balloon drop and a champagne toast. Click here for details.
-- The lineup is coming together for next year's Tampa Bay Blues Fest, scheduled for April 13-15 at Vinoy Park: Los Lonely Boys, Delbert McClinton, Tower of Power and more. Additions are expected, and the day-to-day schedule is still being finalized, so we'll keep you posted and update you when details become clearer. In the meantime, keep an eye out here for updates.
