-- If you're into dubstep, and apparently all the kids these days are (especially those who attend Turbo Tuesdays at Fubar in St. Pete), then you'll want to check out Borgore, above, on Nov. 16 at Crowbar. Few details, but at least we have this.

-- No Big Boi? No problem. Jannus Live is replacing the Outkast rapper's canceled Sept. 3 performance with a free show featuring local acts 10th Concession, Will Erickson and Local Roots, and No Ordinary Cats. Click here.

-- It's the thuggish ruggish bone! Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are coming to the State Theatre on Oct. 19. Yes, even Bizzy and Krayzie Bone, our favorite Bones of all. We'll see them at the crossroads, we guess. Tickets are $22. Click here.

-- Also coming to Jannus Live: Papa Roach, on Oct. 2! This is awesome news! (Wait, what's that? It's no longer the year 2000? Oh, okay, then it's terrible news.) At least they're performing with Thrice. We got no beef with Thrice. Tickets are $23-$26. Click here.

-- The State Theatre continues to be a haven for Warped Tour bands during the Warped offseason. Hey Monday and Cartel are coming there on Oct. 1. Click here.

-- Are Alaskan metal bands more metal than Florida metal bands? We have no idea, but we're not about to get into the pit to find out when 36 Crazyfists comes to the State Theatre on Oct. 2. Tickets are $13. Click here.

-- Check out the specs -- 113,500 square feet, $46.6 million, with a 485-seat concert hall and a 116-seat recital hall -- on the new music building that's scheduled to open at the University of South Florida in February. John Fleming's got the scoop.
