SoundBytes: Ricky Smiley, Royal Bangs, Lil Jon and more

-- Congrats to Tampa rapper Acafool, above, whose song She's Bad was featured on NCIS: Los Angeles Tuesday night. You can watch the episode here; the scene with his song comes in at about the 17:20 mark, during a scene in a bikini bar. You can even hear the lyric "Acafool's in the building." (Does this mean Acafool can legally claim he's collaborated with LL Cool J? Someone get a lawyer on that.)

-- Details are slim, but it looks like Lil Jon is headlining a Spring Break party on March 20 at Shephard's Beach Resort in Clearwater. Stay tuned.

-- Comic Rickey Smiley is coming to the Mahaffey Theatre on April 15. Tickets go onsale at noon Feb. 25 for $37 and $47. Stay tuned to the Mahaffey's website for details.

-- This weekend, Dean Guitars, which is based in Clearwater, is hosting "DOA 2011," sort of an annual convention for lovers of the brand. Many events are open only to members of the Dean Owners of America Club, but some events are available to the public on Friday and Saturday, including a factory tour and performances by guitarists Vinnie Moore and Michael Angelo Batio. Click here for details.
