SoundBytes: Rodney Atkins, The Band Perry, Bizzy Bone and more

-- Time for a little country fun south of the Skyway: Country singer Justin Moore will perform at the Bradenton country nightclub Joyland on Feb. 4. And singer-songwriter Rodney Atkins, above, will perform there on Feb. 11. Your move, Dallas Bull and the Round Up! Tickets are $15-$20. Click here.

-- And don't forget, the country-leaning Manatee County Fair kicks off Jan. 13. Your headlining entertainers include Darryl Worley and The Band Perry. Click here for a complete schedule.

-- Interesting venue alert: Orlando alt-glam-rockers Selby will perform an in-store set at Best Buy, 21415 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 18. Click here for details.

-- Speaking of Orlando (as it seems we often are these days), Sugarland just announced a behemoth tour with no dates listed for Tampa ... but a date in Orlando on Oct. 20. No venue was announced, but we can all assume it'll be the new Amway Center, right?

-- Bone Thugs-n-Harmony just came to the State Theatre in October. So where was Bizzy Bone? We're not sure, but we know he's coming back. He'll be at the State at 8 p.m. Jan. 30. Tickets are $15. Click here.

-- Also coming to the State: Lords of Acid on March 17. A Happy gothic-industrial St. Patrick's Day to all! Tickets are $18. Click here.

-- Nothing better in mid-February than a little reggae-rock-pop in the cool Florida air. Iration and Ballyhoo are performing at Jannus Live on Feb. 18. Tickets are $15, click here. Man, with this show, Slightly Stoopid and Fishbone, G. Love and Special Sauce and Rebelution, Jannus is becoming a hippie beach bum's paradise.

-- Finally: One of the area's top music blogs,, is now one of the area's most interesting new radio shows. Check out Bryan Childs' Nine Bullets Radio at 10 p.m. tonight (1/6) on WMNF-88.5.
