-- Omaha indie rock heroes Cursive are plotting a return trip to Ybor City. They'll be at Crowbar on March 1, according to their website.

-- Well, how about this? The Local 662, arguably the most improved concert venue in Tampa Bay over the past year, has another national name coming in: Pop singer-songwriter Sophie B. Hawkins (Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover, As I Lay Me Down) on March 18. Click here for details.

-- Deftones have expanded their spring tour to include a Central Florida date: May 21 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Click here for tickets.

-- Color us shocked to learn that Trans-Siberian Orchestra performs concerts outside of Christmastime. But they'll be performing "Beethoven's Last Night" on April 23 at the Lakeland Center. Showtime is 8 p.m.; tickets are $28-$58, and they go onsale Friday (2/4). Click here.
