-- How big was this weekend's Janet Jackson concert at the Straz Center in Tampa? So big it was the venue's biggest concert EVER. The show drew a capacity crowd of 2,548, and grossed $330,717 at the box office, shattering the previous record of $215,748, set by Mariah Carey in 2003.

-- Country singer, comic and actor Rodney Carrington is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Feb. 16. Tickets are $33-$53. Click here.

-- Also coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall: The Moody Blues. Interestingly, at this show they'll be offering a "Backstage Tour," during which "fans can meet some of the crew, see the band’s instruments and perhaps catch a glimpse of the band members themselves. Tickets are $45-$95. Click here.
