-- This announcement blew right by us, but the Village People will perform a free postgame concert Aug. 13 at Tropicana Field, on "Turn Back the Clock" night. With Adam Lambert and the Village People performing free postgame concerts at the Trop this season, we can now safely say the Rays are baseball's gayest team. Hooray!

-- Don't ever let anyone tell you we don't have nice things in Tampa Bay. The St. Pete Times is the fourth-best arena in the United States, and the 12th-best in the world, when it comes to ticket sales, according to Pollstar. Or, put it another way: Of the top 10 grossing North American tours of the past year, the Forum hosted six of them.

-- Be careful, everyone: Great White is coming to Jannus Live on Oct. 8. No word on tickets yet, but keep an eye out at for details.
