SoundBytes: Third Eye Blind, Amy Schumer, Jon Secada and more




-- Busch Gardens just unveiled a few of their Bands, Brew and BBQ acts, so it's time for their sister park, SeaWorld, to do the same. Among the acts announced so far: Chris Young with Jerrod Niemann (Feb. 9), Merle Haggard (Feb. 10), the Beach Boys (Feb. 16), Styx (Feb. 17), Big & Rich (Feb. 23), Third Eye Blind (Feb. 24), Hall and Oates (March 2) and Josh Turner (March 10). Dates without a band yet include March 2, 3, 16 and 17. Click here.

-- All those roasts are paying off, as Amy Schumer, above, is about to go from Side Splitters to the Straz Center. She'll perform in Ferguson Hall on May 11. Tickets start at $32.50 and they'll go onsale Friday. Click here.

-- Three acts have been added to the calendar at the Club at Treasure Island: Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers on Jan. 19, Jim Messina on March 16 and Jon Secada on May 4. Click here.

-- Randy Houser has been added to the 2013 Florida Strawberry Festival lineup. He'll perform at 3:30 p.m. March 3. Click here.

-- Speaking of country music, two acts have been added to the Dallas Bull's concert calendar: Edens Edge on Jan. 18 and Corey Smith on Feb. 22. Click here.

-- From the Department of Awesomeness: Costumed Tampa punks Wolf-Face have won a local band contest to open Saturday's 97X Next Big Thing festival at Vinoy Park. Holy moly, that should be fun. Look for the station to unveil Next Big Thing set times on Wednesday.
