SoundBytes: White Rabbits, Purity Ring, Marina and the Diamonds and more

-- Much-blogged-about Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring, above, are coming to the Orpheum in Tampa on Jan. 19. Tickets are a remarkable $7-$15, which is a heck of a deal. Click here.

-- Dynamic Missouri-via-Brooklyn indie rock outfit White Rabbits will bring their multifaced assault to Crowbar on Dec. 4 for what might be their first show in Tampa. Click here for details.

-- Pop outfit Marina and the Diamonds will not be coming to Tampa on their upcoming tour, but they will be in Orlando, at the Beacham Theatre, on Dec. 15. Tickets are $22-$30. Click here.

-- Country singer Craig Morgan will ride his International Harvester from the Redneck Yacht Club to the Dallas Bull on Nov. 10. Tickets are $15-$20. Click here.

-- Pitchfork isn't the only site that loves Tampa shoegaze-pop group Merchandise. Spin has named the band one of its 25 must-see acts at this year's CMJ Music Marathon in New York. Gainesville's Hundred Waters also made the list. Both bands will be part of a Pitchfork-curated show with the much-blogged-about Death Grips on Oct. 19 in Brooklyn.

-- Bad news, '90s fans: Juliana Hatfield will not be performing with the Lemonheads and Psychedelic Furs on Oct. 27 at the State Theatre, "due to unforeseen circumstances."
