SoundBytes: Wolfgang Gartner, Saliva, Little Big Town and more

-- Considering the rise and continued popularity of electronic music was our No. 1 local music story of 2011, it's surprising there are no A-list DJs coming to town in the first couple of months of 2012. That changes in February when Wolfgang Gartner comes to the Ritz Ybor. He'll spin on Feb. 25; tickets are $23-$25. Click here.

-- If The Band Perry are this year's Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town are this year's Band Perry. Does that make sense? If not, get your tickets early for Little Big Town's concert on March 23 at the Dallas Bull, because even though they're priced at $20-$25, this one will be absolutely packed. Click here.

-- Wait, Eddie Money is coming to St. Petersburg? But Ribfest isn't for another eight months! He'll be at the State Theatre on Feb. 2. Tickets are a measly $10, and come on, you owe him that much just for Take Me Home Tonight. Click here.

-- Modern rock grunge-crunchers (grunchers?) Saliva will perform at the State Theatre on March 4. Tickets are $15. Click here.

-- According to Rolling Stone, Bruce Springsteen "is close to announcing ... a U.S. tour with the E Street Band." There are no dates yet, but RS says the group has some arenas booked in March, and will return to the States in the fall. Bruce and co. have always been good to Tampa Bay in the past, so we wouldn't be shocked to see a Springsteen tour date in Tampa.
