Christian singer-songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman is a five-time Grammy winner, but after 25 years of touring, he's still finding new ways to stay interested in his craft.

Take his new "Songs & Stories Tour," which hits the Countryside Christian Center in Clearwater on Friday. Chapman will open up about faith, family and loss through his music and his stories. He'll also share the stage with two other artists, Josh Wilson and Andrew Peterson.

"I enjoy being on stage with other artists," he said recently. "I have a chance to watch and see people responding to the other artists songs. I get to see how people are affected by the music. I’ll always be a student of music really and that’s part of the beauty of this tour. I get to learn from these guys. Andrew is such a great storyteller and songwriter. Josh Wilson is an amazing guitarist, a great songwriter and singer. I’m inspired by all of that. Its like I tell my children, don’t ever stop being teachable."

Chapman performs at 7 p.m. Friday at Countryside Christian Center, 1850 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater. Tickets are $25. Click here for details.
