Tampa's celebrity weekend: Better than 'Birthday Sex'?
He's got a top-10 hit right now with the R&B ladypleaser Birthday Sex, which is pretty much the most awesome song title in the history of ever. But will Jeremih show up in Tampa this weekend?
He's among the scheduled guests at the Athletes vs. Entertainers Celebrity Weekend. Friday night, there will be a kickoff party hosted by R&B singer Bobby Valentino at Hyde Park Cafe in Tampa; admission is $15.
Then on Saturday, there's an all-ages-welcome basketball game between celebs including DJ Magic Mike, Ian Beckles, Earnest Graham, J.J. Redick, Phillip Buchanon and more. Pretty Ricky and Javon Black are also on the guest list. Tickets are $9.57, and kids 6 and under are free. It starts at 6 p.m. at King High School, 6815 N 56th St. in Tampa. The after party will be at Whiskey North, where tickets are $15 for women over 18 and men over 21.
Event ringleader DJ Ekin of 95.7 The Beat tells us that Jeremih should be here this weekend, but he couldn't say for sure if he'd be part of the hoops game.
Why do we care so much if Jeremih comes to town? Because this Friday, July 17, is Jeremih's ACTUAL BIRTHDAY. Which means that yes, the man who sings a current hit song called Birthday Sex could conceivably be celebrating his 22nd birthday in Tampa.
So ladies, if you see Jeremih out and about on Friday, just know that he don't need no candles and cake; he just needs your body to make ...
