Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Yuck coming to Crowbar in Tampa
They have a slew of really interesting indie rock shows in September and October, including John Vanderslice (Sept. 2, CL Space), Peter Bjorn and John (Sept. 24, Czar), Junior Boys (Oct. 4, Crowbar) and Battles (Oct. 4, Crowbar).
And the newest additions are two of the finest.
On Oct. 7, British fuzz-grunge revivalists Yuck will hit Crowbar en route to the Langerado Music Festival in Sunrise. They're a bit like Sonic Youth, and they're getting pretty big overseas. Tickets are $10-$13. Click here.
And on Nov. 1, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists will return to Tampa Bay for the first time since 2008. The New Jersey punk poet will take the Crowbar stage alongside Pujol (not to be confused with Albert Pujols, though man, would that be awesome). Tickets are $12-$14. Click here.
Aestheticized honcho Jack Spatafora has had a great time teasing the show announcements on Twitter -- but the good news is, he tells us he's not done yet. "Some even bigger stuff in October in the works," he said.
Indie Rocktober 2.0! Can't wait.
