Three concerts in one day? For 11-year-old Ella Jet, no sweat

If you're in a band, and you feel worn out after playing a couple of shows in a single weekend, look to Ella Jet for inspiration.

On Sunday, the pixie-sized singer-songwriter will play three gigs in three counties in about 8 hours.

Oh, and did we mention that she's all of 11 years old?

"It's a busy day for her, but she enjoys it," said her uncle, Robert Vessenmeyer of Experimental Pilot (which also features her dad, Stephen Vessenmeyer). "She loves it. She's just stoked. The more the merrier for her."

Ella Jet's Sunday breaks down like this:

1. At around 11 a.m., she'll perform with fellow kid musicians Alex Merrill and Danny Scordato (that's them in the above photo) at Folkfest St. Pete, taking place on Central Avenue between 11th and 13th streets. Experimental Pilot will also perform as part of a "Tribute to Woodstock." After that, it's off to ...

2. ... New Port Richey, where Ella Jet will perform a solo acoustic set at about 3 p.m. as part of the annual Founders Day Celebration at Sims Park. After that, it's over to ...

3. ... Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa, where Ella Jet will meet back up with Danny and Alex at 5 p.m. for an early performance opening for Male Order Brides and Hat Trick Heroes. Tickets to that show are $7.

Whew. Let's just hope they find time to have lunch.
