Ticket Window: Toby Keith, Fitz and the Tantrums, Woody Allen and more

We sort of glossed over this a couple of days ago, but man, how cool is it that Fitz and the Tantrums are coming to the St. Petersburg? They've got a great blend of '60s soul and '80s pop-rock (think Nick Lowe or even a little David Bowie), and that song Moneygrabber is undeniable. The only downside is that the show is Nov. 2, the same day as Odd Future at the Ritz Ybor, so local hipsters are gonna have a real Sophie's choice on their hands.

Fitz and the Tantrums lead this week's super-sized edition of TIcket Window. Tampa Bay concerts with tickets going onsale this week include: Black Star (Mos Def and Talib Kweli, Oct. 2, Straz Center), Steve Miller Band (at the Lightning Launch party, Oct. 4, St. Pete Times Forum), Kenny Rogers (Oct. 14, Mahaffey Theater), Toby Keith (Oct. 14, 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre), Lucinda Williams (Oct. 19, Jannus Live), Fitz and the Tantrums (Nov. 2, State Theatre), Kem (Nov. 6, Straz Center), Matt Hires (Nov. 9, Orpheum) Mayday Parade (Nov. 13, State Theatre), Alesana (Nov. 16, State Theatre), the Rat Pack Tribute (Jan. 20, Largo Cultural Center), and the 2011-12 season at Ruth Eckerd Hall, including shows by Woody Allen and His New Orleans Jazz Band, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Danny Aiello and more.
