Tim McGraw coming to the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre in Tampa

Looks like we're officially in concert-announcement season.

This week, concerts were announced for two major Tampa Bay venues -- Jimmy Buffett at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre and Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks at the St. Pete Times Forum. Now we have a third: Tim McGraw at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre.

The country superstar's annual jaunt will hit the Gary on April 29, according to his website. Joining him, as always, are two hot country up-and-comers: Luke Bryan and The Band Perry (who, incidentally, are performing at the Manatee County Fair in Palmetto on Jan. 20). Tickets are scheduled to go onsale at 10 a.m. Saturday (1/15). Click here for the full details.

For the second straight year, McGraw's tour is being sponsored by Tampa steak purveyors Outback. Does this mean he'll show up for the annual Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, like last year? It's possible -- he will be touring in the southeast from April 11-17, and lord knows he could afford an army of private jets to fly him down for a night.

Ticket prices weren't immediately available; we'll update you when we get them.
