U2 concert at Miami's Sun Life Stadium rescheduled for June 29, 2011

In the span of a lifetime, a year isn't really that long, is it?

U2 fans in Miami might disagree. They're going to have to wait nearly a full year to see Bono and company return to their fair city.

U2's concert that was scheduled for July 9 at Sun Life Stadium, and postponed due to Bono's back surgery, has been rescheduled for June 29, 2011, according to their website. That's nearly a full year's delay. Tickets to the original gig will be honored, and new tickets should go onsale through Ticketmaster sometime in the future.

It's still their only date in the southeastern U.S. in 2011, so if you want to see The Claw again, this is your chance.

Check out a video message from the band about the rescheduled dates here.
