UPDATE: Alicia Keys coming to the St. Pete Times Forum

This one has been rumored and reported by Vibe magazine and other Web sites for about a month, but according to her own Web site, today it's official: Alicia Keys is coming to the St. Pete Times Forum March 28.

This could be a pretty nice soul/R&B tour -- Robin Thicke has tweeted that he's on board as an opener, and Melanie Fiona, whom we last saw at Tampa's Whiskey North, has said the same thing. But neither has been officially confirmed, so maybe they're just trying to mess with us.

Hot on the heels of her not-quite-chart-topping The Element Of Freedom..., Keys (who may or may not be engaged to Swizz Beatz) recently enjoyed a nice round of end-of-decade kudos, including:

-- The decade's top R&B artist

-- Most No. 1 singles in the decade

-- One of the top six songs of the decade

-- One of the decade's most beautiful people

-- One of the decade's most wearable foods (wait, no, we're thinking of the Bacon Bra.)

No ticket info has been announced just yet. When we have it, we'll strike through this last paragraph and post it here. Ain't bloggin' grand?

And whaddyaknow, the Forum today announced details of the show. Alicia Keys tickets go onsale at 10 a.m. Feb. 6, at prices ranging from $55.25 to $100.25. Click here for info.
