A couple of years ago, we caught Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band in concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. It was, in many ways, a novelty show, featuring guests from various bands of the '70s and '80s singing some of their biggest hits. Mr. Mister's Richard Page sang Broken Wings, Edgar Winter did Frankenstein, etc. Kinda cheesy, until you remember:

RINGO STARR IS A FREAKING BEATLE. END OF STORY.

That's all you really need to know about the fact that Ringo's All-Starr Band is returning to Ruth Eckerd Hall on July 1. The drummer announced tour dates today for the 13th incarnation of the band, and it'll feature the following acts: Page, Todd Rundgren, multi-instrumentalist Mark Rivera (who has worked with Hall and Oates and Peter Gabriel, among others), drummer Gregg Bissonette and All-Starr newcomers Steve Lukather of Toto and Gregg Rolie of Santana and Journey.

Ringo will of course perform Beatles hits like Yellow Submarine and With a Little Help From My Friends, but with this lineup, you can also expect to hear Toto's Rosanna, Santana's Black Magic Woman, Rundgren's Hello It's Me and other bygone hits.

Ticket info has not yet been posted, but we'll keep you updated. For now, click here for details on the tour .

***UPDATE*** Tickets will be priced at $56-$153. Click here.
