The V closes in Clearwater
No surprise here, but The V -- formerly known as The Venue, and still one of the biggest nightclubs in all of Tampa Bay -- has once again closed. Stephanie Wang has the story.
It's another chapter in a beleaguered venue that has hosted performances by a wide, odd array of artists: Flo Rida, DJ Pauly D, The Script, Modern English, Miguel, Avicii. The club is too huge to stay down for long, though -- who'll give it a shot next?
