Vans Warped Tour 2011: Gym Class Heroes, Against Me!, A Day To Remember lead lineup

As was the case with this year's Tropical Heatwave, we've largely ignored the piecemeal announcements trickling out about this year's Vans Warped Tour, which hits Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg on July 31.

We figured, anyone who's dying to know which acts are announced day by day can get them at, and we'll just wait until we get a complete lineup to make an informed judgment.

Well, over the weekend we finally got, if not a 100 percent complete lineup, at least a look at this year's headliners.

The biggest headliners coming to St. Pete include pop-punk-alternative hip-hop group Gym Class Heroes (above), gravel-throated Gainesville punks Against Me!, Ocala screamo five-piece A Day To Remember (who will first come to Jannus Live on April 18), metalcore party band Attack Attack! (who inspired one of the biggest moshpits we'd ever seen at last year's Warped Tour), hardcore metal group August Burns Red, and Christian metalcore group The Devil Wears Prada

Noteworthy acts that had already been comfirmed for St. Pete include Gainesville punk legends Less Than Jake, buzzworthy rapper Yelawolf, alt-country heroes Lucero, ska favorites Big D and the Kids Table, glam-rockers Black Veil Brides, D.R.U.G.S. (the new project of former Chiodos frontman Craig Owens), screamo group We Came As Romans, prog-hipsters Foxy Shazam, reggae-rockers Pepper, pop punk outfit The Ready Set and Christian punks Relient K.

That's just a drop in the bucket, of course; there are way too many bands to name here. You can get the full St. Pete lineup here. All in all it's a pretty solid slate.

And that's not all. Know how we mentioned that A Day To Remember was coming to Jannus Live on April 18? Well, as part of their Warped headlining status, ADTR will appear in-store at the Vans store at Tyrone Square Mall in St. Petersburg that afternoon. It's not clear whether they'll be performing, or simply meeting and greeting, but either way, expect this one to be packed. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Wristbands will be handed out starting April 11. Click here for the details.

Warped pre-sale tickets went live over the weekend, starting at around $25, which includes a compilation CD and other goodies. Click here for details.
