One of tbt*'s 2011 Ultimate Local Artists, Tampa's 10th Concession have a throwback mainstream sound -- think the Eagles meet Sister Hazel. And they made an unabashed appeal for mainstream attention with their song It Gets Better, inspired by the anti-bullying campaign of the same name.

The clip is a pretty standard studio performance video, but it's well shot, and Evan and Ian Koteles come across like the fresh-fased singer-songwriters they aspire to be. Look for a children's choir and an a cappella outro. Trust us, the song sticks in your head. You'll be singing it all weekend.
