Video Week: Dana Harmon, 'For The Love Of God'
Formerly a member of Tampa funk/metal group Samurai Shotgun, guitarist Dana Harmon has turned his attention to jazzier, jammier, spacier pursuits in recent months. A devoted fan of Carlos Santana, he blends blues, jazz and '70s funk-rock to create a pretty unique retro sound.
For The Love Of God comes from his EP D.A.R.E. (Drugs Are Really Evil), which was released in February. But it's not even his most recent effort -- TNT (Trials & Tribulations) came out in April. He's already lapping himself on the video front! This clip, featuring Harmon alone with a guitar, was directed by Maria Ziesche.
