Weezer bringing 'Pinkerton,' 'Blue Album' to Hard Rock Live in Orlando
There is a certain segment of the population who will regard this as the concert of the year in Florida. These people will probably own chunky glasses and more than one ironic T-shirt. And whatever you do, don't tell them you stopped listening to Weezer after Buddy Holly, because they might drop their inhalers and prepare to throw down.
According to the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Weezer is coming to O-Town for a two-night stand in November. On Nov. 10, they'll play all of their self-titled "Blue Album" -- the one with hits like Buddy Holly, Say It Ain't So and Undone–The Sweater Song -- plus a greatest-hits set. And then on Nov. 11, they'll play the hits plus a full performance of Pinkerton, the group's cultishly adored second album. Ticketmaster says tickets to both shows start at $47.50 -- click here for the "Blue" tickets and here for Pinkerton -- and will go onsale this weekend.
Forget for a moment this is a rare chance to see a group like Weezer in a relatively smaller setting like Hard Rock Live. The chance to hear Pinkerton in its entirety will be enough to draw fans from every corner of the Sunshine State. (Though to be honest, we've always been "Blue Album" people -- please don't kill us, commenters.)
