What was the best Tampa Bay concert of 2011?
Loyal Soundcheck readers: You guys are great. Do we tell you that enough? Well, you are.
Last year, we put out a call for you to help us pick the best Tampa Bay concerts of 2010, and you responded, with shows by the likes of Kings of Leon, Wilco and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.
So this year, we want to hear from you again. What were the best local concerts of 2011? Anything is fair game -- Jason Aldean (above) at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre, Lady Gaga at the St. Pete Times Forum, Battles at Crowbar, the Antiwarpt Festival in St. Pete, Bassnectar at Jannus Live, Black Star at the Straz Center, Paul Simon at Ruth Eckerd Hall, even your best friend's band's EP release party. Anything goes.
Tell us your favorite show of 2011 in the comments -- and be sure to give us a good reason why -- and we may round up some of the best responses for a future story. We'll share our picks for 2011's best concerts in the next couple of weeks.
Can't wait to hear your picks!
