Wilco coming to the Straz Center in Tampa
For years, people have been calling Wilco "the American Radiohead." So it's fitting that about a week before Radiohead invades Tampa, Wilco have announced they'll be doing the same.
Jeff Tweedy and company will perform at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts on May 14, according to the venue. Tickets start at $45.50, and they'll go onsale at noon Saturday. Click here for details.
Touring behind their Grammy-nominated album The Whole Love, the group aims to make this tour an interactive experience. On their website, you can request a song for the setlist. And they've also launched the Wilco Video Fan Project, in which fans can submit video of the concerts in their cities, which may then be projected behind the band onstage. Click here for details.
