Will Drake's knee injury keep him from coming to Tampa with Lil Wayne?
Toronto rapper Drake is just about the hottest thing going in hip-hop these days, so it's a major bummer that a recent knee injury has hindered his ability to perform as part of Lil Wayne's America's Most Wanted Tour, which comes to Tampa's Ford Amphitheatre on Sept. 4.
According to Rolling Stone, the Best I Ever Had rapper is lining up surgery for an ACL tear that is expected to keep him sidelined for six to 10 weeks. That means he'll be out of commission for the Tampa show. The magazine says Pleasure P and Birthday Sex crooner Jeremih will fill in for Drake on the tour.
Tickets to Lil Wayne's show at the Ford Amphitheatre are onsale for $39.75, $59.75 and $79.75, with a VIP package (including a seat in the first 10 rows, VIP pre-party access, a $50 gift certificate to Lil Wayne's online store and a Lil Wayne fan club membership) available for $400.75.
