Willie Nelson coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater

In 1978, Willie Nelson reportedly smoked pot on the roof of the White House.

In 2010, Willie Nelson was arrested for pot possession ... and less than two weeks later, he was back at the White House again, this time for a reception paying tribute to this year's Kennedy Center Honorees.

We're not sure what this means, but we have a feeling it has something to do with Willie Nelson being invincible, or, at the very least, free from the shackles of law that bind every other American. For this alone, he deserved his Kennedy Center kudos.

Assuming he doesn't get arrested for pot possession anytime between now and February, Nelson will be back in Tampa Bay next spring. He's scheduled to perform Feb. 16 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. Tickets are $42.50-$88. Click here.

Not to go all Robert Evans on you, but: Willie, you're a star. Don't ever change. And even if you do run into trouble on the road again, don't worry, the White House will probably still welcome you with open arms.
