Wiz Khalifa coming to the USF Sun Dome in Tampa

Seems like only yesterday that Wiz Khalifa was playing the Ritz Ybor. (It was actually November 2010, but still.) These days, the Black and Yellow rapper is headlining arenas.

The Pittsburgh kid is one of few rappers in recent years to make such a jump, and in December, he'll bring his expanded stage presence back to Tampa. The USF Sun Dome announced today Khalifa will perform there on Dec. 2 (right around midterms), along with Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter and Berner. Tickets are $32-$42, and they'll go onsale at 10 a.m. Friday. Click here for details.

Say this for the revamped Sun Dome: With concerts by Elton John, Florence and the Machine, Eric Church, Kirk Franklin and now Wiz Khalifa on the way, they're doing their best to cover every demographic base.
