Yo Gabba Gabba! coming to the St. Pete Times Forum

Forget the Wiggles! There's a new must-see kids show coming to town this fall.

Yo Gabba Gabba! is bringing its live "There's A Party In My City!" tour to the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa for two shows (2 and 5 p.m.) on Oct. 30. DJ Lance Rock, Muno, Foofa and all your favorites will be on hand -- and, improbably, so will Biz Markie, who's joining the tour to help kids learn to beatbox. Seriously.

If you're not familiar with Yo Gabba Gabba!, trust us, this ain't your average kids show. Adults will dig it too. The critically acclaimed Nick Jr. series was co-created by Christian Jacobs of the Aquabats -- and when they played the State Theatre recently, the crowd was a mix of parents and kids.

Among the many too-hip-for-TV musicians who've appeared on Yo Gabba Gabba! are MGMT, Mates of State, Chromeo, Shiny Toy Guns, the Shins, the Ting Tings, Black Kids, the Roots and Ladytron. Heck, Yo Gabba Gabba! played freaking Coachella this year!

As if you needed another reason to check it out: $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Tampa's Bay's affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. Reserved seats are $28.75-$48.75, and they'll go onsale to the public June 5. Click here for the details.
