Young Jeezy coming to Jannus Live

young.jeezy_.JPG

One thing we can safely say about the new Jannus Live: They're not afraid of hip-hop.

From Gucci Mane to 50 Cent, from Big Daddy Kane to Sugarhill Gang, from Sean Paul to Big Boi (okay, fine, maybe not so much those last two),  the courtyard has courted some of the biggest names in rap. And now they've got another one coming: The perpetually popular Young Jeezy.

The raw, deep-voiced rapper will hit Jannus Live on Oct. 23, according to the venue. The announcement is so fresh it's not even up on their Twitter or Facebook pages yet, and ticket prices/onsale dates are still to be determined.

Still, Jeezy's got mad street cred, so expect this one to be more like the wild Gucci show than the sorta-mediocre (depending on who you ask) Fiddy show. We'll keep you posted on any forthcoming details.

50rockWhy would anyone voluntarily attempt to see 50 concerts at 50 different venues in a single summer? Jay Cridlin shrugged and thought: Eh, why not.
