UPDATE: Deadmau5 coming to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa
Merry Christmas, EDM fans.
One of the biggest names in electronic music, Deadmau5, is coming to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Dec. 26. It's the third big-time EDM event this year at RayJay, following May's Sunset Music Festival, with David Guetta, and this month's Club Cirque Fest, with Steve Aoki.
Details are scarce, but ticket prices won't matter. Even though it's a Thursday night show, even though it's the day after Christmas, Deadmau5 will draw an enormous crowd -- especially since he hasn't performed in Tampa since 2009. The DJ and producer born Joel Zimmerman is one of the biggest names in electronic music, a man who has (A) performed with Foo Fighters on the Grammys, (B) appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, and (C) led a sold-out show at the enormous Rogers Center in his hometown of Toronto.
We'll keep you posted on tickets. In the meantime, go ahead and add this one to the top of your holiday wishlist.
